The short answer: This was an act of sabotage.
After six months of leaving Blueberry with Luis Rivera of Wankel Works, a trashed car and a sabotaged motor was returned. While the original agreements weren't not adhered to, I was able to save my fresh rotor housings for my own rebuild in the future.

What I did learn from this misadventure was that contracts are a must.
